HIGHBANK APPOINTS WILLIAM (BILL) LOUCKS, CPA, CA, CFP, TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Vancouver, B.C. – August 11, 2014 – Highbank Resources Ltd. (TSX.V: HBK), (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. William (Bill) Loucks, CPA, CA, CFP, to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Loucks, received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Guelph in 1978. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981, and joined Collins Barrow CK, LLP in 1989. He is currently the Managing Partner of the Chatham–Kent practice. In addition to providing audit, accounting and tax services, Bill is responsible for overseeing the delivery of consulting services. The Chatham–Kent Chamber of Commerce awarded Bill the 2007 Business Professional of the Year award. Bill services a large variety of clients in the agricultural sector including many European clients, as well as other sectors of the economy. Bill’s focus is on providing owner managers with general business advice and estate planning. Bill’s Professional, Community and Social Affiliations include: Member – Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, and Collins Barrow National Board of Directors for over 20 years before recently resigning; Certified Financial Planner; Past Director – Chatham-Kent Hydro Inc.; Recipient – George Hixson Fellowship from the Kiwanis International Foundation. Mr. Loucks, appointment significantly enhances our board expertise and the Company welcomes his knowledge and experience as we continue to move forward in advancing our Swamp Point North, Portland Canal, B.C. aggregate project to commercial production.

Options

The Company has granted William Loucks options to purchase 500,000 common shares exercisable at the price of $0.22 for five years.  The stock options granted will be in accordance with the Company’s Stock Option Plan, subject to regulatory approval, and will have the required four (4) months hold period.
